Jesuits and World War II: An Online Exhibition by the British Jesuit Archives

The British Jesuit Archives have launched a special online exhibition curated by Rebecca Somerset. LINK

The exhibition accompanies the new book “The Second World War through Jesuit Archives: The Case of Europe (19391945)”, edited by Damien Burke, Rebecca Somerset, and Christian Taoutel. More information about the publication can be found here: LINK LINK LINK

Visitors can explore an interactive map to access information about provinces of the Society of Jesus across Europe and beyond. The section on the Greater Poland and Mazovia Province is based on a chapter in "The Second World War through Jesuit Archives" by Fr Krzysztof Dorosz SJ and Katarzyna Trzcińska.

The exhibition also features photographs from the Archives of the Province, including one that appears on the book’s cover and in the exhibition header.

Take a virtual tour to learn more about Jesuit history.
