The Second World War through Jesuit Archives

Thanks to the collaboration of Jesuit archives across Europe, work on an important publication, The Second World War through Jesuit Archives, is now nearing completion. 

The book presents archival documents on the Second World War preserved in Jesuit archives in the following countries: Britain, Czechia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, the Low Countries, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, and in Rome. 

It is aimed at a wide readership interested in the history of the Jesuits in the twentieth century. 

The book is expected to be available at the beginning of 2026. Orders will be possible through the website fondazionepolanco.org.
